Protection of loading and unloading docks

Protective bumpers that cushion the impact of trucks entering and leaving loading docks for loading and unloading.

Loading dock bumpers are metal shock absorbers used to safeguard the integrity of loading and unloading docks, protecting them from impacts received by trucks entering the dock to load.

Manufactured in galvanized steel. They have integrated rubber bumpers inside. And steel structure with crash plate reinforcements.

Features

  • Large size for greater shock absorption.
  • Prevents wear of the buffers due to vibrations during the loading and unloading process.
  • The inner shock absorbers are completely protected from external elements as they are not exposed, thus extending their useful life.
  • Upon request and quotation, the buffers can be supplied installed on your loading dock.
  • High quality, maximum resistance and durability of the product.
  • The bumpers are designed to effectively absorb impacts.
  • Thanks to the rubber buffers that are protected by the steel structure with high resistance to deformation.
  • The high-performance design ensures long service life of the bumper system and effective protection of the loading dock structure.
  • The stoppers are ideal for installation on original or refurbished equipment.
  • Structure made of bent steel without welds or weak points.
  • Rubber bumpers integrated to the structure.
  • Quick and easy installation, with plugs or direct welding to the dock.
  • The stops are supplied with mounting instructions.
  • Ideal as a replacement for existing rubber buffers.
  • Manufactured in CEE.

Advantages

  • Effective protection of the loading dock.
  • No engineering work.
  • Easy installation.
  • Available in several versions depending on the height.
  • Increased safety in the loading and unloading process.

Instructions

MATERIAL REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION

  • Through bolts Ø12 minimum 14 mm long.
  • Level.
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Tools (drill, etc...)

BEFORE INSTALLATION MAKE SURE THAT

  • All components are available
  • It has all the necessary equipment for the installation.
  • The installation personnel are trained and equipped with the necessary equipment for work protection (EPIS).
  • The work area is properly marked.
  • The surface where it will be installed is clean, sound and free of cracks.
  • Never install if the surface is damaged.

INSTALLATION OF REINFORCED LOADING DOCKS WITH SIDE PLATES

The reinforced installation covers the lateral damage that a damaged pier may have, adding more sound impact surface where the stops are welded to prevent the dowels from coming off. We weld the stops to the plates and the plates are mechanically doweled to the concrete at the top and front and electrode welded to the pier frame. We recommend this type of installation whenever possible.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION OF SPRINGS FOR DIRECT DISCHARGE INTO CONCRETE

The simple installation is used in case the concrete of the pier is in perfect condition and of good quality (not very sandy). In this case we can weld the base of the pier frame and fix it to the concrete with mechanical plugs. With the time and the impacts the plugs are yielding taking looseness for what we always recommend to make the installation with lateral plates.
