STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT TO CHAIN OF CUSTODY COMMITMENT

The Management of Forankra España, S.L.U has decided to implement a Chain of Custody Management System in accordance with the requirements of the FSC-STD-40-004 and PEFC ST 2002:2020 standards, for the products marketed by the company.

The implemented chain of custody system describes all the management and production requirements for the control of the chain of custody, labeling and sale of certified products. It involves the evaluation of forest products from the tree to the final product, with the objective of verifying that the materials being marketed come from a properly managed forest.
Management makes available all the human and material resources necessary to meet these goals.
Management declares that it is not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities:

Illegal logging or illegal trade in timber or forest products
Violations of human or traditional rights in forestry operations
Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations
Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest uses.
Violation of one of the ILO's core conventions, as defined in the Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998, in particular:
- Not prevent workers from associating freely, electing their representatives, or bargaining collectively with the company.
- No use of forced labor
- Not impeding equal opportunity and equal treatment of workers
- Working conditions do not jeopardize the safety or health of workers
