FIXRoad® Covered Mooring System

FIX Road consists of a patented suspension system and a durable cover to secure the load with load securing straps sewn on both sides.

Features

FIX Road can be used for most transports, both on flat platforms and in covered cargo spaces. 
When FIX Road is installed, the cover is hung under the roof of the cargo space on rails with bungee cords. Since the cover moves along the rails, it can be quickly and easily placed over the load. To allow for side or roof loading, the cover can also be pulled to one end of the cargo space.

The cover is securely fastened with lashing straps and ratchets. It is pulled over the entire load in such a way that its tension is always evenly distributed, even when the load consists of separate goods of different shape and size. When it is time to unload, the ratchet tensioners are released and the deck is pulled all the way to the end of the trailer.

When the cover is not in use, it is automatically raised to the height under the roof and the cargo space is immediately ready for a new load.

FIX Road saves time during both loading and unloading, as there is no need to pull straps over the load or to roll it up afterwards. The loading space, with the FIX Road system suspended, is always ready for loading, without time-consuming preparations.

Estimated savings are at least 30 minutes for each loading (semi-trailer), and at least 15 minutes for each unloading. 
The cargo securing cover is suitable for securing various types of goods. It is placed over the entire load in such a way that its tension is evenly distributed, which enables optimum lashing. The cargo is held together even if it is uneven and consists of irregularities and different sizes.

The cargo securing cover is made of a soft but durable material that adapts its shape optimally to the cargo, even in cold climates. The durable material protects the cargo from rain, dirt and UV rays and ensures that the shipment is not damaged.

Regulations

The system is manufactured and tested in accordance with EN 12195-2 and meets all national requirements, as well as all EU legislation requirements, for cargo securing.

Calculations show that our lashing system does an excellent job in withstanding the force to which the cargo is exposed in various forms of transport and on various routes. The lashing capacity (LC) of each anchor point of the load securing tarpaulin is 2,500 daN. Additional straps at the ends also enable straight lashing.

Our load securing solutions have been certified for various types of cargo, and we serve our customers by performing specific load securing calculations for each type of transport and lashing.

If the load is secured in the right way, it is also possible to avoid accidents. According to the European Best Practice Guidelines for Cargo Securing, approximately 25% of truck accidents can be caused by improper cargo securing.
