Ramps

Standard and customized solutions to overcome height differences in all logistic phases.

What type of ramp do you need?

During transport and deliveries of goods or equipment, thousands of logistic operations are performed every day. Operators daily have to deal with different levels between the platform of the truck, van, warehouse, etc... and the ground. In a single unit or in pairs, loading ramps facilitate the loading of all types of materials.

Used in many cases, they can, for example, load a lawn mower on a van, put a car on a truck bed or have public works equipment weighing tens of tons accessed by door-to-door vehicles. Therefore, the choice of the ramp requires special attention depending on the height to be saved, the type of gear (on wheels, tires or tracks), but also the characteristics of the machine to be loaded (reduced ground clearance, vehicles or low machinery). It is therefore very important to have a solution perfectly adapted to our needs.

A ramp is a stable, inclined surface of different sizes to overcome a height difference for logistical purposes.

Features

  • For any application the most suitable ramp
The applications of the ramps are very wide. The choice of the perfect ramp for each application and use requires special attention depending on the height to be saved, the type of surface (type of wheels, tires, chain, etc.) but also the characteristics of the machine to be loaded.

Therefore, it is essential to have all the data and needs in order to be able to offer the most suitable ramp for each case and application.

  • Transportation and Logistics
The transport and delivery of goods represents thousands of operations every day. Constantly, during the logistics process, operators must move the goods multiple times, bridging different levels between the truck or van to the ground (and vice versa).
  • Reduced mobility and pedestrian access
Access to buildings, stairs, different levels of sidewalks, etc., architectural barriers are another of the obstacles we encounter on a daily basis.
  • Works
Ramps for construction sites and public works machinery must be robust and highly durable. Anti-skid surfaces for chain wheels are specially designed for the construction industry.
  • Custom manufacturing
Depending on the needs of each customer, tailor-made ramps are manufactured to suit the specific characteristics of each application.
Other sizes and lengths of ramps are available on request for different types of applications.

Instructions

When requesting a ramp you must inform :
  • Height to be saved, maximum distance from the floor to the ground.
  • Maximum load
  • Width
  • Type of fastening
  • Type of wheels
  • Interior dimensions (in case you want to store the ramp in the vehicle itself)
  • Door dimensions (in case you want to attach the ramp to the vehicle itself)
  • Height of the vehicle or machine that will go up the ramp.
  • Type of ramp, set of two ramps, wide ramp, ...
  • If it should have curbs on both sides, only on the outer sides or no curbs at all.
