During transportation, loading, unloading and deliveries of materials or equipment, thousands of operations are performed every day. All operators and carriers must deal with the different levels at which each piece of equipment, the truck bed and the (un)loading dock of the warehouse are located. Loading bridges or connecting gangways are used to connect the dock to the trucks or vans.
This choice is an excellent alternative to built-in systems, which require extensive masonry work, and represent much more costly investments. Therefore, the choice of material requires special attention for each use. Depending on the intensity of traffic, the load to be transferred and the inclination, there are various types of walkways or bridges. From the removable tie plate to the hydraulic spring leveler.
Junction gangways are aluminum or steel plates used to allow pallet trucks or wheeled equipment to pass between two loading points. Where a ramp is not available such as truck to van, to an elevated loading area, truck to truck or train to truck loading dock, the connecting gangways are the best solution.
They are manufactured with different load capacities allowing the passage of hand pallet trucks up to forklifts or vehicles up to 4TN.
The gangways are mobile and offer great versatility ideal for any warehouse with elevated loading areas without loading/unloading docks installed.
